The Spare Free technique, developed by the speaker's research group, eliminates spurious noise in switching converters, achieving long-term spectral purity quickly and efficiently. The presentation highlights various projects within the research group, including power conversion in wide band gap technology using silicon carbide. The goal of this project was to develop fully integrated analog mixed signal and power converters in silicon carbide, demonstrating a charge pump process similar to how neurons power themselves.
